IDEA DEVELOPMENT - MY BIOGRAPHY

Hi, I’m Aina.
I’m a Creative Media student from Malaysia who’s passionate about fashion, photography, and all things art. I’ve always loved finding new ways to express myself creatively, whether it’s through capturing moments, experimenting with visuals, or simply putting together an outfit that feels like me. I’m curious by nature, open to trying new things, and constantly inspired by the world around me especially through visuals, culture, and everyday aesthetics.

What’s my Passion?
My passion is expressing creativity through fashion and art. I enjoy exploring visual styles, experimenting with aesthetics, and finding ways to turn ideas into something visual and meaningful.

What motivates me?
I love the process of turning ideas and inspiration into visuals that reflect my style and personality.

How do you want to visualize your dream into an artwork?
Through composition, colors, and styling, I hope the artwork reflects who I am and what inspires me creatively.

STATEMENT ABOUT MY WORK

I want my poster to have a dreamy, vintage, and feminine aesthetic; something soft, nostalgic, and expressive of my personal style.

What is the concept behind it?
I aim to explore themes of identity, femininity, and self-expression using a dreamy and vintage-inspired aesthetic. I plan to combine photography, illustration, and collage to blur the line between reality and imagination. The visuals will reflect my personal interests in fashion and art, and will serve as a creative expression of how I see myself and the world around me.

What is the message you want people to understand?
I want to show that it’s okay to embrace your identity, personal style, and imagination and that creativity is a way to tell your story in your own unique way.

What is your motto/ quote?
"A visual journal of who I am."

REFLECTION

Working on the Self-Titled animation project was a fun yet challenging experience. Turning my poster into a 15-second motion piece pushed me to think beyond static visuals and explore how movement can enhance storytelling. Through this process, I observed how even small animations like floating stars or cloud transitions can bring a design to life and express mood more deeply. I also learned the importance of timing, smooth transitions, and keeping the file size within limits without compromising quality. Overall, this project helped me better understand the basics of motion design and how to express ideas in a more dynamic and engaging way.
